Cars Gallery We need more space.

Now we've moved out to St Helens, our various outbuildings currently are home to:

  • A 1968 Triumph Spitfire mk3 in fetching red and rust,
  • A 1971 Triumph Spitfire mk4 in white, but sadly missing anything resembling a drivetrain,
  • A 1981 Triumph Spitfire with a broken air pump and a primer grey bonnet,
  • A 1976 TR7 in white/silver/rust with no fuel tank,
  • A 1970 Rover P6 v8 with some interesting electrical problems,
  • A 1972 Triumph Stag with a seized engine and no interior or roof.

I didn't mean to buy six Spitfires.. it just sort of happened that way.. of course, the obvious evil plan is to sell the lot and buy a proper Stag.. but that's quite a lot of rebuilds away!

  • Cars We Have in the US

Triumph 2500S Rescued in 1998 from a scrapyard in Kent, previously owned by a mad old woman by the sea. Came with no history, no MoT, and a sill panel full of old socks.
Land Rover Freelander Bought June 2006 in Seattle, WA from a nice salesman named Jerome. Had obviously been "dumped" on a Mercedes dealer - but what a colour!
Land Rover LR3 Bought May 2006 from a pointless Land Rover dealer in Spokane, WA. After much negotiation, we got the perfect car. And it has a fridge.
Sterling 827SL Bought August 2007, simply because it was "lowering the tone" of a very posh neighbourhood in west Portland. The poor guy just wanted his driveway back, I think!
Sterling 825S Bought in January 2008 from a nice man in Dundee (where the wine comes from), specifically because it's a nice colour and it's got a manual gearbox. It turns out it's actually quite a good car, so it'll end up on eBay soon enough. I don't need *quite* this many cars...
